Ti-Base

Explore IPD’s ti-base abutments and titanium bases for implants, engineered for custom restorations and seamless CAD/CAM workflows. Each implant ti base offers a secure fit, high stability, and full compatibility with major systems. Ideal for labs and clinicians seeking reliable Ti-Base abutment solutions.

What Are Ti-Base Abutments Used For?

Ti-base abutments—short for titanium bases—are components used in digital implant workflows to support custom-milled restorations. They serve as a connection between the dental implant and the prosthesis, typically when the final abutment is designed and fabricated via CAD/CAM systems.

These abutments are widely used in full-contour zirconia, PMMA, or hybrid restorations where the substructure is milled to fit over the ti base, either cemented or bonded. IPD’s ti base abutments allow for optimal retention, precise implant connection, and long-term mechanical performance in both anterior and posterior cases.

One Ti-Base to match all clinical cases

  • Standard Ti Base Abutment: For use in custom-milled crowns and bridges, featuring platform-specific geometry and precise internal connection.

  • Angulated Ti Bases: Designed to optimize screw access in esthetic zones by redirecting the screw channel.

  • Implant Ti Base for CAD/CAM: Compatible with popular design software (exocad®, 3Shape®), allowing seamless workflow integration.

  • Tibase Abutment for Full-Contour Restorations: Supports monolithic zirconia or PMMA designs in single or multi-unit applications.

  • Ti Bases with Retentive Grooves: Designed for extra mechanical retention when cementing milled structures.

All IPD ti bases are supplied with screw access channels, torque specs, and are compatible with a wide range of prosthetic materials and workflows.

Materials and Technical Specifications of Our Ti-Base Abutments

IPD’s ti-base abutments are manufactured from titanium Grade V (Ti-6Al-4V), offering maximum strength, wear resistance, and compatibility with modern CAD/CAM materials. The abutments feature laser-marked platform codes, anodized finishes for easy identification, and retentive geometries to improve bonding with prosthetic structures.

Each ti base implant component is engineered to exacting tolerances (±5 µm), ensuring optimal seating and torque control during final restoration. Our Ti -base line is available in multiple collar heights and angulations to adapt to clinical anatomy and aesthetic requirements. All components are CE-marked, FDA-listed, and validated for use in digital workflows, offering precision and peace of mind for labs and clinicians alike.
